Volunteer with Young Playwrights’ Theater
Love to act? Use your talent to help DC youth! Through interactive in-school and after-school playwriting programs, Young Playwrights’ Theater inspires students to understand the power of language and realize their potential as both individuals and artists. Participants learn to express themselves clearly and creatively though the art of playwriting, and are further encouraged when selected works are publicly presented and performed. YPT is looking for classroom assistants to help facilitate the programs for all ages at various locations in DC. If you are interested, email Marissa Price at neighbors.youth@gmail.com and she can help you fill out your application.

Young Playwrights’ Theater is one of GW Neighbors Project’s 33 community partners. To learn about additional service opportunities through Neighbors Project please click here.
